Loveswept, a Bantam/Dell imprint published Category or short romances. The imprint published 917 titles beginning with Heaven's Price by Sandra Brown in May 1983 and closing shop with Fayrene Preston's The Prize in January 1999.
Many big-name authors got their starts writing for Loveswept, including Sandra Brown, Janet Evanovich, Tami Hoag, Kay Hooper, Iris Johansen, and others. In any given month, you could find a future "Who's Who" of romantic fiction being published. For example, May of 1988 saw titles by Sandra Brown, Tami Hoag, Janet Evanovich, Deborah Smith, Kay Hooper, and Iris Johansen hit the shelves.
