RRA-L (Romance Readers Anonymous) is the first and, quite possibly, the best romance discussion list out there. Smart readers talk about books. Established in 1992, the list is remains the gold standard for readers' lists. On August 10, 2007, the original RRA-L list was retired when its founders moved on to other projects. As second list, started by a long-time list member was established for those who wanted to maintain the same high level of discussion that made RRA-L famous.

In addition to robust discussion, members of RRA-L have created annual awards. These awards have been issued since 1994.
