DIABLO MANOR -- DEVIL'S HOUSE. Avis comes to Diablo Manor to find her father, reported missing among the Florida Keys. The manor, filled with priceless art objects, is exquisitely beautiful -- except for its chamber of horrors. There, among the medieval instruments of torture, Avis finds a dummy of herself, ready to be pierced by the lethal spikes of an Iron Maiden. To Avis, this proves that her father's disappearance was no accident; someone is trying to frighten her into abandoning the search for him. But until he is proven dead, she can't give up ... even though she knows she may be the Iron Maiden's next victim.
