Biography

After earning her law degree, Doreen Owens Malek taught and practiced law before turning to fiction writing. She won the 1986 Golden Medallion in the Traditional Category. Her work includes Contemporary, Historical, and Young Adult romance. Malek contributed the essay "Mad, Bad, And Dangerous to Know" to Dangerous Men and Adventurous Women: Romance Writers on the Appeal of the Romance. She also published under the name Faye Morgan.

She published one title for the Silhouette Romance imprint.
