Call her Zen-Ren. She's the pseudonym for D. Renee Bagby.

As a pseudonym, she does something D. Renee Bagby never would... she writes contemporary *gasp* along with fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal. Her stories are short, (not so) sweet, and stand alone... and that's the point.

Like her other self, her stories deal with multi-racial couples, usually featuring a black heroine.

Nicknames

  • Zen-Ren - A shortening of Zenobia Renquist and usually how Renee refers to her alter ego.
  • The Acolyte - As D. Renee Bagby is Sekhmet's Avatar (on the website), so Zen-Ren is Renee's Acolyte. It's a theme Renee created for her website's motif.
