Book Description

Dani Hawthorne wasn't sure what game she was playing.

Rick Malone changed the rules so often Dani didn't know if she was winning or losing. But Dani loved a challenge, and she tried her best to keep up with Rick, the brash newcomer to exclusive Westport, Connecticut. He turned their friendship into a battle of wits and their romance into a contest of wills-on and off the polo field.

For marriage-shy Dani, conventional courtship was out of the question, so Rick kept the competition exhilarating, the pace quick and the opposition off-balance. Otherwise, Dani was sure to guess the object of the game. Then they'd never know the thrill of winning, or savor the spoils of victory.
