Cameron Ross, a movie star, decides escape the spotlight by purchasing a ranch and changing his name to Noah. Dulcy McCann decides that Noah, her new boss, is another useless rich guy until she spots him working the ranch. A single mother who is viewed with suspicion in town, Dulcy prefers to keep to herself and fights her attraction to Noah/Cameron, knowing it will lead to heartbreak. Cameron knows that it's only a matter of time before his real identity is discovered -- especially since his face is on the cover of every magazine in town.
