Book Description

When Sam Delanian rescued Babs Malone from kidnappers, he wasn't being heroic. Sam planned to deliver Babs to her L.A. home, collect the hefty reward money and happily part company with the spoiled, bad-tempered heiress who wasn't anyone's idea of a Real American Heroine.

But the kidnapping was only the tip of a very nasty iceberg that threatened Babs. As she and Sam went underground to flush out her enemies, he saw that he'd been wrong about Babs; she was resourceful and courageous. And for the first time Sam found a reason for heroism--but no guarantee it would keep them alive.
