Book Description

Fledgling lawyer Dana Ausbrook learned fast that the candy business was anything but sweet. Her company was in the middle of a lawsuit over a candy recipe given to her mother, Maggie Ausbrook, and Ki Brown as a wedding present forty years before. But the wedding had never taken place, and since then Maggie and Ki had founded rival candy companies, each fighting for the wonderful secret to Peppermint Kisses.

And now, Rick Stafford, Ki's lawyer, had come wooing Dana. And Maggie tried to use the feud to drive her daughter and Rick apart. So the younger generation took up the challenge--to teach their elders how to handle a proper Ozark feud. The candy business in Branson, Missouri, would never be the same again.
