Thorne Mordeaux has a secret. He's Darwaedd royalty from the mythical island Sayrea. He's left his island to escape the shadow of his overpowering brother Dax and the heartbreak of a lost love. Thorne falls for his sweet new housekeeper and as the winter grows colder, his feelings for her heat up, but he's doesn't want to scare her off with his advances.
A week before Christmas, King Dax makes an unexpected appearance to convince Thorne to come back to their island. It's obvious to Dax that his brother and Merry are in love, and just as obvious -- neither of them has the faith to act on that love. With the help of some Christmas Magic, Dax makes it his mission to give fate a hand and bring them together.
