Lenore fought her rapidly rising panic. She tried the door she had used earlier to enter the auditorium, but it was locked. She ran down a hallway behind the stage, only to find walls without doors. Just at the moment Lenore was about to lose control, she saw her rescuer.
Simon Winter seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. He was good-looking enough to be considered a knight in shining armor, and Lenore was thrilled to find out that he was her new employer.
