Book Description

Greece was a choice location for an embassy post. Or so Janelle Lindsey had thought when she'd first arrived there. Then the body of Nikos Marinatos, a known smuggler, was found in her bedroom, and she was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The embassy sent Alec Hayden, in Athens on a temporary security assignment, to arrange for her release--on the condition that she not leave the city.

But Janelle had to prove she was innocent. Her search for the truth led to the discovery that a monastery inhabited by Russian monks, missing priceless relics, Nikos's death--and even Alec himself--were inextricably connected....

Trivia

Adapted into a TV-movie for the Showtime cable network, with the title slightly changed to Out Of The Shadows, in the late 1980s. [1]
