Mills & Boon started to reissue older titles in a monthly series in 1977. At first this series was named Classics, but in ? the name changed to Best Seller Romance and from October 1993 on it was named Favourites.
In 1996 the reissue of single titles was replaced by the themed By Request series.
The name of the series or the covers may have changed, but the continuity of numbering remained.
