She has written 21 books for Harlequin Presents. As a Harlequin American Romance Author, Anne McAllister published 13 romances. Writing for the Harlequin Romance imprint, she published one title.

She has been honored with the RITA award for her titles The Stardust Cowboy and Cowboy Pride. Other titles were RITA finalists.
