Biography
Darlene Gardner's first job after she graduated from college was as a features writer at the Charleston Post and Courier in South Carolina. She was 22 years old, a Yankee and couldn't understand why everyone kept calling her ma'am. Gardner has also published under the name Julia Quinn, leading to confusion with the historical romance author of the same name.
She has written for the Harlequin Superromance, Harlequin Duets, Harlequin Temptation and Silhouette Intimate Moments (now called Silhouette Romantic Suspense) lines. She wrote four novels for the Harlequin Temptation imprint.
