Pennington is a fictional town featuring in a series by Catherine George and published by Mills & Boon in various imprints. The author says:
Pennington, my favourite location, is my own creation. Having lived near two attractive county town in the past, I combine the best features of both, not least the classical buildings an d pump-rooms from the Regency era, when spas were all the rage. My serene, fictional town has wide streets, teashops. public gardens ablaze with flowers, irresistible shops with elegant clothes and jewellery, others with bargains in antique furniture and porcelain. A centre of thriving business, yet set in rich agricultural land, Pennington is the dream combination of prosperity ans picturesque charm.
Apart from The Dysarts series these books are usually not related by persons reappearing in several titles. Common feature is the town of Pennington.
