Elizabeth Elliott is the pseudonym of Linda Kay Crippes (b. 1958). She works for an information technology company and began reading romance novels as a setoff. After winning the Golden Heart award in 1993 under her real name, she published her first novel, The Warlord, in 1995 as Elizabeth Elliott . Her historical romances feature the same families in a medieval or Regency setting.
