SANDRA MADDEN grew up in a small New England town. During the cold winters she read and wrote, and didn't have just one imaginary friend, she had several. Her developing talents led her to write the sixth grad school play.

Some of her most rewarding work has been as a write/producer/host for WLRN-TV, Miami's public Broadcast station, where she was known as Sandra Dempsey. With every book, she hopes to bring a smile - or several - to her readers.
