Janet Evanovich starting her career writing romances for publishers such as Loveswept. After she famously "ran out of positions to write about", she turned to single-title fiction. Her hapless bounty hunter creation, Stephanie Plum, has made Evanovich a superstar while they focus on Stephanie's continuing attempts to juggle two men while blowing up countless cars.

Writing for Loveswept, she published nine romances.

Janet Evanovich returned to the romance realm when she co-authored a series of books with author Charlotte Hughes.
