Jane Porter was a 2008 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Novel With Strong Romantic Elements category with her novel Odd Mom Out. Her first published book, The Italian Groom finaled in the 2000 Golden Heart contest and was published by Harlequin in 2001. She is also a two-time RITA finalist. Her novel Flirting With Forty was made into a Lifetime movie starring Heather Locklear and Robert Buckley.

Jane Porter has written 16 books for Harlequin Presents.
