Texas-based author Julie Kenner, after dabbling in journalism and film production, worked professionally as a lawyer before focusing her attention on fiction writing. Biography

Texas-based author Julie Kenner, after dabbling in journalism and film production, worked professionally as a lawyer before focusing her attention on fiction writing. After deciding she didn't have the chops for writing Historical romance, Kenner focused her attention on the contemporary, Category market, eventually selling her first novel Nobody Does It Better to Brenda Chin for the Harlequin Temptation line.

An award-winning author, Julie Kenner has been honored with a National Readers' Choice Award and Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer's Choice award, among others. She writes in a variety of contemporary areas, including Paranormal. She is also a two-time RITA finalist and a USA Today Bestselling author. Kenner also received a 2000 P.E.A.R.L. Honorable Mention in the Best New Author category. Her novel Carpe Demon has been optioned for a motion picture by Warner Brothers.
