Sheila Holland (b. 22 December 1937, d. 8 October 2000), neé Sheila Coates, is more widely known under her pen name Charlotte Lamb. Under her married name she wrote historical and contemporary romances.
Born in London she was educated in a convent, but left school early to work as a clerk. Her husband, journalist Richard Holland, urged her to start writing, She wrote under various names and her work also included category romances for Mills & Boon and Silhouette.
