Biography

Susan Meier published her first romance novel in 1990. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she has been an active member of Pennwriters, a Pennsylvania writers organization, serving as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. She is also a member of the Romance Writers of America.

She has been a finalist for several high profile published author awards, including the National Readers Choice Award. In addition to Nora Roberts and Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Meier cites Dean Koontz as a key inspiration for her career. Meier transitioned from Silhouette Romance to Harlequin Romance when the former line ceased publishing. She also writes under the name Suzanne Mayer.

As an author for Silhouette Romance, Susan Meier published 29 novels. She has also been published by Silhouette Desire.
