Carla Capshaw earned a Bachelors degree in International Studies from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Theology from International Theological Seminary. Capshaw won the 2004 Golden Heart in the Short Historical category and the 2007 Golden Heart winner in the Best Inspirational Romance Manuscript category.
Carla Capshaw was a 2010 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Best First Book category with her novel The Gladiator. She also finaled in the RITA®:Best Inspirational Romance category with the same book.
