Book Description

FDA investigator Kit McKenna was under pressure, undercover--and trying hard to underestimate her feelings for neurologist Dave Matthews, who'd ensnared Kit in the most sensational case of her career.

A desperate woman had been injected with an untested, experimental drug from Dave's lab--and learned too late she'd paid twenty-five thousand dollars for a dose of death.

Dave stood all but accused by Colorado authorities eager to close the lid on the scandalous murder. Kit had come to town to prove to herself that she no longer loved the man who'd vanished from her life without saying goodbye. Now she had to prove his innocence.
