Book Description

Bob Glenn came riding home, a two-gun man on a tall horse.Coming through the Badlands, coming down into Absaroka Valley where he'd grown up - coming home to Death.

There was the XL Ranch where his father had died while he had been away: murdered? There was the Diamond D and the Double Rafter Ranch, and a new girl in the Valley. But Alice was waiting for him: they'd grown up together. Other things were waiting: Sheriff Yell and the brutal gang who'd gained control of the Valley, Wetheridge, the oil man, who wanted possession of the Valley. There were sudden shots in the darkness, a dead man in the snowy canyon, danger and death on every side.

Who were his hidden enemies? Those in the open he could meet in fair fight. And was the new girl on his side or against him? When the showdown came Bob Glenn found out, the hard way. To the sound of gunfire and pounding hoofs, in blood and dust, trapped on the rim of Badlands.
