Book Description
Elena is stunned when her guardian tells her she is the daughter of the deceased king and must prepare to claim her rightful position as queen. But the story of her royal birth is disputed by the dashing nobleman, Don Armando, who serves the reigning king.
A raging battle for the throne ensues, and even as the innocent young Elena is warned that she must not trust the handsome Armando, she finds that his love is the fulfillment of all her dreams. Despite the conflicts that separate them, she knows she can never forget the passionate man who showed her that, whether she is queen or commoner, she is first of all a woman.
