A romance novelist and short story writer, Christine has over thirty publications to her name. She loves to exercise and stops writing just long enough to keep her body in motion too. When she’s not pretending to be a ninja in her basement, she’s most likely spending time with her family and two dogs. Christine was born in Fredericton, NB Canada in 1974. Enamored with books at an early age, she was always found play, reading and occasionally coloring a variety of reading material. She wrote her very first story (and subsequently her first publication in the school creative writing yearbook) in Grade 2. From that point on she would jot down ideas, poems, song and dialogue. Christine's focuses shifted away from writing. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, honoring in English Literature, and her Bachelor of Education degree from St. Thomas University. Later, she followed that with her Masters of Education degree from the University of New Brunswick. Christine married her high school sweetheart and went on to start her family. When she was home on her second maternity leave, Christine once again sat down at her computer and decided to give this writing thing another go. One full manuscript (historical), two partials (category contemporaries) and a few odd chapters later, Christine began work on a futuristic romance. The Bond That Ties Us became her first publication with Ellora's Cave in 2007. She chose the last name d'Abo as her pen name because of her husband's appreciation of actress Olivia d'Abo. She kept her first name because she doubted she would actually answer to something else. Christine lives in Southern Ontario, Canada with her husband, two children and two mini Dachshunds Jack and Jill. When she's not writing or working at her day job, Christine enjoys exercising, listening to music and reading.
