Dreams can come true. That's what I discovered when my story, The Border Bride, placed as a finalist in Romance Writer of America's Golden Heart contest, then was selected to lead off Jove's Highland Fling line. This was my dream, to tell the story of the heroes and heroines who were forged by the romantic, often tragic border conflicts of the fourteenth century. So the Darnleys and Kirallens were born, two families who face each other across the border, embroiled in a bitter feud that has gone on for centuries. Their tale begins with Jemmy and Alyson in The Border Bride and continues with Alistair and Deirdre in Laird of the Mist.
When not drifting off into the fourteenth century, I work as a technical writer for a consulting firm, and live outside Philadelphia with my husband, son, and assorted animals. I am always happy to hear from readers and can be reached at P.O. Box 539, Kimberton, PA 19442.
