Lucy Cummingham, marketing executive, has just landed the Palm Fitness Club account, based on her idea of having an overweight person appear on television and that person's progress at the club followed in a reality-show like presentation on-line and on TV. As an incentive, there is an award of a thousand dollars for every pound the person manages to lose, $1,000 for the trainer and $1000 for the loser, up to a total of $100,000 for losing 100 pounds over a year. Lucy somehow reluctantly gets picked to be the fat loser, and then she meets her totally-hot trainer, Theo Redmond.
