Book Description

When Grace Hamilton offered her a summer job sorting the family historical papers, graduate student Jenny Fletcher was delighted. Aside from the money she'd earn, the work would provide her with vital research material for her thesis and a chance to visit Lone Lake Island.

Jenny discovered that tensions ran high in the isolated Hamilton home, especially between Glenn and Martin Larabie, Mrs. Hamilton's nephews. They were at odds with each other about the future of the island, and Jenny was warned not to take sides.
