Laura Resnick is the daughter of Sci-Fi Author Mike Resnick. She writes romance novels under the psuedonym Laura Leone. Her fantasy name crossed over into the Romance Genre in 2005 when Harlequin's LUNA Line opened, and published Disappearing Nightly.
