So, per Wikipedia's Extended Image Syntax we should be able to use thumb or other parameters to modify the size of an image.  HOWEVER, I was unable to do that with Femme Metal.  I'm currently trying to figure out what needs to be done there, but I suspect it is something in the Image Template which I don't think I can access.  Help would be appreciated because we do want smaller images to be easy to put in. --DawnBurn 16:23, 16 September 2007 (PDT)

:Fixed. I'm slightly an idiot. Kay T helped me figure out that 'thumb' and the pixel sizing was working but that the picture in question was too close to defaults (196 vs. 180) for me to see the difference.  Editing the main article with more info. --DawnBurn 18:30, 16 September 2007 (PDT)

Porque quando vou carregar uma imagem da erro na hora de criar a miniatura?

Is there a reason you are using these particular levels of headings (3= and 4=)? Using a 2= will give you horizontal lines separating the sections which I think makes it easier to read. --Kay T 18:19, 11 September 2007 (PDT)

I dislike the horizontal lines. But I can change for readability. The wiki pages I copied from had 3 as the default, IIRC and so I went from there. --DawnBurn 19:08, 11 September 2007 (PDT)

Edit

Dawn, I broke the sections into bulleted steps. I was not sure where this step fit in since I did not see the option in my limited exploration of the screens:

You must also check the box affirming that you are not violating any copyrights by uploading the file.

Where is this box? Do you want to move this to the Help domain, or shall I? --Kay T 10:54, 13 September 2007 (PDT)

That box is a legacy of the Wikipedia and should not be there. However, I really don't like the bullets. I feel like they break it up too much. Lemme poke it and then if you think it is okay you can move it or I will (sorry work has been bearing down on me this week). --DawnBurn 00:01, 14 September 2007 (PDT)
Poked it. I left in a lot of the bullets, but I really dislike that format. I like paragraphs better. However, if you think it reads better with the bullets this is the version I would prefer. --DawnBurn 00:15, 14 September 2007 (PDT)
I think Dawn came up with a good compromise, although I'm still eyeballing the last section on images and trying to decide what to do with it. I do like the bullets for the to-do bits of each paragraph, but in the final section, the sheer number of them (and the various indents) gets kind of cumbersome. Maybe do "NOTE: Blah Blah Blah" instead opf the second/third indent? Or put FYIs in boxes, or do 1, 1a 1b, 2, etc. It's just really easy to lose track of what goes under what with that level of indentation. I do like the headings, though: I almost never read the whole help file, just skim till I get to what's relevant. That my $.02 --Robini 15:48, 14 September 2007 (PDT)
