Signet had the longest running Regency series, beginning in the late 1970s and ending in February of 2006. Usually 3 or more books were published every months. Authors like Mary Balogh, Catherine Coulter and Amanda Scott started their career writing for this line. Every title had around 220 pages; longer romances were called Super Regency.
