#REDIRECT Long, Tall Texans
Long, Tall Texans is a series by Diana Palmer. Launched 1988 in the Silhouette Romance imprint, it extended into the Silhouette Desire and Silhouette Special Edition line. All titles have the logo "Long, Tall Texans" on the front or back cover.

The stories are mostly set in and around the fictional town of Jacobsville, Texas. It is the setting for many other novels by Diana Palmer as well. Thus the series now also includes novellas, a few Harlequin titles and Romantic Suspense by Mira and HQN. The later don't mention the Long, Tall Texans series, but are linked through the same personnel. Diana Palmer introduced some of the HQN titles' heroes in Lionhearted.

Heroes and heroines from previous titles reappear in later books, and the author refers intensively to their stories. Since the series runs for 20 years now, even returning readers are probably out of their depth to remember all those details. Constant figures are:

* feetlot of the Ballenger brothers

** Calhoun and his wife Abby (Calhoun)

** Justin and his wife Shelby, neé Jacobs, descendent of the founder of Jacobsville (Justin)

* Dr Jed "Copper" Coltrain (Coltrain's Proposal)

* Attorney Blake Kemp (Boss Man)
