Book Description

Some kind of madness had overtaken everyone but Valery Essex. Lifetime neighbors were lying under oath. Planting evidence in her backyard. Making midnight phone calls designed to terrorize her. Unless Valery got to the heart of the madness, she would be separated forever from her little boy. Convicted of a crime she hadn't committed. Imprisoned without ever knowing who had killed her husband - or why.

Valery counted on Nikolas Grady, a newcomer who swore to uncover the conspiracy. But in a town in thrall to evil, even Nikolas was not what he seemed.
