Patricia Matthews

Patricia (Anne Klein, née Ernst) Brisco Matthews (July 1, 1927 – December 07, 20060 was born and lived in California. She wrote gothic, romance and mystery novels. She wrote under the pen names P.A. Brisco, Patty Brisco, Pat A. Brisco, Pat Brisco, Patricia Matthews, Denise Matthews and Laura Wylie.

Patricia started writing poetry, juvenile books a play and fantasy and mystery short stories, and she signed under diferent names: Patricia Ernst, P.A. Brisco and Pat A. Brisco. With the names of Patty Brisco and Pat Brisco she wrote gothic romances. When the market for gothic novels softened, at the suggestion of the Matthews's agent, she began writing romance novels under her second married name, Patricia Matthews. She and her second husband, Clayton Matthews, also collaborated on several romance and suspense novels, and under the pseudonyms Laura Wylie and Laurie Wylie. With Denise Hrivnak, she also wrote under the pseudonym Denise Matthews.

Patricia pased away on December 07, 2006 in Arizona.
