Book Description
Anna Marie is an orphaned English woman living in China. She has become addicted to the opium her adopted father sells -- to the point where she's lost her will to exist. Zhi-Gang has been charged by the Emperor to rid China of the evil opium, and his work brings him into Anna's life.
