Patricia Rice has published historical and Regency romances since 1984, contemporary romance since 1998, nominated for RITA awards in all three categories. She has several million books in print and has been on both the New York Times and USA Today's bestseller. Ms. Rice is a former CPA whose forty-fourth book is scheduled for July, 2007, from Signet Eclipse.

Patricia Rice's emotionally-charged contemporary and historical romances have won numerous awards, including the Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers Choice and Career Achievement Awards and the Bookrak Bestselling Paperback award. Her books have also been honored as Romance Writers of America RITA finalists in the historical, regency and contemporary categories. She was nominated by Romantic Times Book Club for 2006 Reviewers Choice Award for her bestselling romance, Magic Man.

Patricia Rice is married to her high school sweetheart and has two children. A native of Kentucky, she resides in St. Louis, Missouri, and now does accounting only for herself. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, the Authors Guild, and Novelists, Inc., as well as numerous professional accounting organizations and local charities.
