DIANA HUNTER Diana Hunter began her career in academia, creating staff development opportunities for fellow teachers, writing articles for professional magazines and even contributing a chapter for a textbook detailing a comparative analysis between the Ramayana of India and Homer’s Odyssey. Her pleasure reading, however, took a kinkier turn when she discovered the world of BDSM. Few books, however, dealt with the subject and the stories she found online were of poor quality and substance. A friend challenged her to write something better, and taking up the gauntlet, Diana wrote her first erotic romance, Secret Submission.

Today Diana has several books of erotic romance published by Ellora’s Cave Publishing, Inc, each one exploring the BDSM lifestyle or its various permutations. It is a genre with many flavors and each of her books approaches the kink in a different manner.

Diana lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York State with her husband and two wonderful children.

SECRET SUBMISSION was always intended as the first in a two-book set. While it deals with the introduction of the heroine to the BDSM lifestyle, SUBMISSION REVEALED deals with what happens when that very private kink becomes very public. Both books stand on their own and are complete stories in their own right, yet the two work together to tell the story of Phillip and Sarah and the romantic journey they take.

Awards/Honors

SECRET SUBMISSION has won the Gold Star Award from Just Erotic Romance Readers (JERR). TABLE FOR FOUR was an EPPIE finalist in 2004.
