She has also been a RITA finalist for three other titles: Jake’s Child, The Cowboy, The Baby, And The Runaway Bride, and Undercover Daddy. She has been a Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer's Choice Award winner. She formerly taught English at the high school level. Longford earned her M.A. in English Literature.
