Worldwide Superromance #10, January 1982

Harlequin Superromance titles feature "Today's woman in Today's world" [1]. They are generally longer, issue-oriented stories that place extra emphasis on secondary characters and subplots. While the line has undergone many changes over the years, it remains dedicated to exploring today's families, and favors "individual" writing that avoids romance cliches[2].

The Harlequin Superromance imprint started in June 1980 and until December 1981 only 9 titles were released. From January 1982 on 2 titles per month were published by Worldwide, a subdivision of Harlequin, and called simply Superromance. In February 1984 4 titles of the (Worldwide) Superromance and 4 titles of the Harlequin Superromance were released and since that time the imprint kept that name.
