About The Book

Libby Pilgrim, staid and sensible college archivist, wouldn't have kidnapped Joshua Noon without a very good reason. And what better reason could there be than the protection of her beloved Maine coastline? But nature didn't cooperate with the environmentally minded Libby.

A broken rudder. Strong currents. And Libby, Joshua and their little boat were drifting out to sea, facing doom at the hands of a nor'easter. Poor Libby was learning the hard way that crime didn't pay. For her only hope of escaping a watery grave was tiny, remote Sagamore Island--where she couldn't escape her understandably irate kidnappee.
