Book Description
The ancient Scottish clans of Campbell and MacDonald are hereditary enemies, and when Edward Campbell and Fiona MacDonald met for the first time they followed tradition by taking an immediate and violent dislike to each other. She considered him a stuffy Colonial; he was shocked by her apparently vulgar appearance and behaviour. He was not to know that Fiona was trying desperately to blot out the nightmare of having been jilted, only that morning, three days before her wedding. They next met, unbelievably, on the New Zealand sheep station where Fiona had found a job and hoped to make a new life, and where Edward was the only man for miles around. He had no reason to alter his opinion of her; she was too proud to explain how wrong he was. Would they keep up their feud to the bitter end?
