[[Shannon McKelden]] has been writing women's fiction and romance for many years. Her first novel, [[Venus Envy]], is a Tor/Forge book published in January 2007. An active member of the [[Romance Writers of America]], McKelden has served on the board of two local [[RWA]] chapters. She has published short stories and poetry in True Confessions and True Romance magazines and, when not pursuing her passion for romantic women's fiction, McKelden is also a contributing writer for an online parenting magazine and a romance/love advice columnist for Affaire de Coeur magazine, taking on the persona of the title character in her novel [[Venus Envy]].
