Marie Ferrarella sold her first book to Second Chance At Love in 1981. Since then, she's gone to published nearly 140 novels, and has won the 1993 RITA® in the Traditional category for Father Goose. She has also written under the names Marie Michael, Marie Nicole, and Marie Charles.

Marie Ferrarella published 42 titles for the Silhouette Special Edition line. She's written 41 titles for the Silhouette Intimate Moments imprint and 33 novels for the Silhouette Romance line. Ferrarella wrote 11 titles for Silhouette Yours Truly and four novels for Harlequin Next. She wrote three books for the Maitland Maternity series. As an author for Silhouette Desire, she published two novels. She wrote a single title for the Fortunes Of Texas series and three books for the Fortunes Of Texas Reunion series.
