Barbara Delinsky specializes in novels that focus on the emotional upheavals we face in life. As a breast cancer survivor, she uses her experience as a base for her stories and her work with others, including her volunteer efforts. Three of her novels, Coast Road, Three Wishes, and For My Daughters, have been optioned by motion picture studios. A fourth, A Woman's Place, was made into a movie for Lifetime called Custody of the Heart [1]. It starred Lorraine Bracco.

As an author for the Harlequin Intrigue imprint, Delinsky published one novel. She wrote 24 books for the Harlequin Temptation line.
