Julie Ortolon began writing when her husband brought home a computer that had spell-check. Ten years, and five complete manuscripts later, she sold her first book. Most of her books are set in Texas. She attended Schreiner College in the Texas Hill Country, a school which specializes in kids with learning disabilities. She was dyslexic.
