Samantha Barnes assumes the role of U.S. ambassador to a small Eastern European nation after her husband dies. She takes over his efforts to gain peace between the country and its neighbors, and becomes a target of those opposed to the peace talks. Navy SEAL, Marcus Evans, is assigned to her security unit. Eventually they have to go into hiding in a remote cabin in order for him to keep her safe.
