His problem, Mitch Cudahy told himself yet again as he hung upside down in a tree rescuing a cat, was that he always had to be the hero. Which was fine on the job, but he had to learn to leave his work at the fire station. Maybe he needed to get little cards to hand out when the urge overtook him:
